VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

The voter registration deadline for November 3, 2020, General Election is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2020

Anyone who has moved or changed his or her name, please notify the County Clerk’s Office. Seventeen-year-old individuals, who will be 18 by Election Day November 3, 2020, are eligible to register now.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

According to Monroe County Clerk, Christina Buie, absentee ballots are now ready for voting. Anyone wishing to vote absentee for the GENERAL ELECTION may do so in the County Clerk’s Office during regular office hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or mail in a request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to their place of residence. When mailing in a request, individuals must list the address where the ballot is to be mailed, designate a party, and sign their name to the request.

The last day for mailing out absentee ballots will be Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The last day for voting absentee in the County Clerk’s Office is Monday; November 2, 2020, until 5 p.m.
