18th Annual Triple C Tournament to Benefit Monroe County Cancer Support Fishing for a Cause That Matters
Anglers from across northeast Missouri are invited to cast a line while supporting a meaningful cause during the 18th Annual Triple C (Catch Crappie for the Cure) Jack & Jill Tournament, hosted by the Eastern Missouri Crappie Club. The annual event raises funds to benefit Monroe County Cancer Support, helping local individuals and families facing the challenges of cancer.
The tournament will take place Saturday, August 1, 2026, on Mark Twain Lake, with fishing scheduled from 6:00 a.m. until noon. Teams consisting of one male and one female may enter for $100 per team.
Participants are encouraged to register on Friday, July 31, at the Paris Fairgrounds Pavilion. Following the tournament, anglers will return to the pavilion for the official weigh-in beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The afternoon festivities are open to the public and will feature a silent auction, live auction, and door prizes, providing additional opportunities for community members to support Monroe County Cancer Support.
Funds raised through the tournament and auctions remain local, assisting cancer patients and their families throughout the area.
Established in 2009, the Eastern Missouri Crappie Club has combined a passion for fishing with a commitment to giving back, making the Triple C Tournament one of the organization's signature annual events.
Whether competing on the water or attending the afternoon activities, everyone is invited to help make a difference.
