Hello member Paris Area Chamber of Commerce,

We're excited to kick off our 4th Annual Community Champion Contest -- celebrating the individuals who go the extra mile to support and make a difference in their local communities. We know how important community involvement is to you, and we'd love your help in spreading the word and encouraging nominations.
The contest runs from May 1 to May 29, 2026, and invites our community to nominate someone who has made a meaningful impact locally. After receiving nominations, finalists will be chosen by our internal team, with public voting for the winner taking place on our Facebook page.
Here are some key dates:
oo Nomination Period via landing page: May 1 - May 15
 oo Finalist Selection: May 18 - 19
oo Public Voting on Facebook: May 21 - May 28
 oo Winner Announced: May 29
Please consider helping us spread the word so we can shine a light on the neighbors, volunteers, and everyday helpers who make our communities stronger. If someone comes to mind, we invite you to https://regionalmobankcommunitychampion2026.lndg.page/2mZC9G

The Fall Into Paris Committee met on Wednesday, April 29, at the Senior Citizens Center, 112 East Monroe, Paris, MO, at 5 PM. It takes lots of hands to put together this event - if you are looking for community involvement, here is your opportunity. We welcome community participation. Unable to attend but want to help - contact Emma Morgan, Chairperson, Monroe County Farmers Mutual Insurance/
We will be putting the flags out on Main Street again before Memorial Day. If you see one that is beginning to look tattered, please let Ryan James, James Insurance Agency, or Jo Reynolds, Regional Missouri Bank, know so we can get a replacement put up.
When you walk or drive down Main Street, can you remember just a few short years ago what it looked like compared to now? Please take the time to tell our business owners how much we appreciate all the effort they have put into their places of business to make our streetscape so much more attractive to visitors. Let's encourage "Shop Local" and support our local businesses.
