2026 Monroe County 4-H Registration Instructions
March 23, 2026
Read carefully the TYPES of Campers who can be registered. We specifically set each group based on age and sex to ensure that we have exactly how many beds for each cabin is available. If you log in and Day Campers, or only options are for the opposite sex from your child, its because your section is full. Do not sign your boy up for a girls cabin or vice versa.
LEADERSHIP CAMPERS- These are 12- and 13-year-old 4-H members who have already verbally committed to serve as leadership campers. There will be a spot to sign up as a male or female leadership camper. Monday-Friday. Fee $100/camper.
REGULAR 4-H OVERNIGHT CAMPER- This is for kids who are ages 8-11 who plan to stay overnight. There are spots for male or female campers. Tuesday-Friday. Fee $100/camper.
REGULAR 4-H DAY CAMPER - will be available to 8-11 yr olds who will plan to go home at night. This one isn't designated, MALE or FEMALE, those designations were made in the `types' so that we could ensure that we made openings only for the beds we have available in each cabin. Tuesday-Friday. Fee $70/camper.
CLOVER KID DAY CAMPER -- will be available to 4-H members aged 5-7. One Day Camp, Thursday, June 18, 2026. Fee $20/member.
PAYMENTS FOR ALL CAMPERS, Cash or Check, no cards and you cannot pay online. Checks made out to Monroe County 4-H Camp.
*If you try to sign up and the Overnight spots are full. You can do two things, first, go ahead and sign up for a day camper spot, and if you so choose email Kathy to be placed on a waiting list for a potential opening of cabin 7.
THE STEPS:
Log in to 4Honline. And under events tab, choose 2026 Monroe County 4-H Camp. This registration opens on Thursday, March 26, 2026 for:
Leadership Campers, both Male and Female
1 Female Leadership Day Camper
Regular 4-H member overnight camper, both Male and Female,
Day Campers
Clover Kid Day campers
`Special Permission' Camper, that is in there by default. You wouldn't be able to use it, as I must manually open it. Pick your camper type. Only what is still available is what will be open for your age group. For example, Ashley Kendrick wouldn't see Clover kids, because she doesn't have a child that age. You should only be able to see the options available to your family, based on their age.
Go through the steps and register your camper.
BRING PAYMENT TO THE OFFICE. Camp payments must be made in person at the Extension Office. They must be cash or check, made out to Monroe County 4-H Camp; we don't have a way to take a card. Kathy will be in the office in Paris on Thursday, March 26, from 9am-7pm and Monday, March 30, 2026 12-6pm. Mary DeOrnellis will be in the office Friday March 27, 8am-1pm to collect fees. Please contact Kathy if you can't work out an option to drop off fees during those times. If we get to the point that we need to offer another time/location to drop off fees, that will be announced. Camp generally sells out the first day, so that probably isn't a problem.
THESE MUST BE FOLLOWED AND EXACTLY AND COMPLETELY TO ENSURE YOUR SPOT AT CAMP.
IF FOR SOME REASON THE OPTION YOU WANT DOESN'T SHOW UP-Please contact Kathy by email at the Monroe Extension office. She will be there Thursday, March 26th, and again Monday, March 30th, primarily to manage the camp registrations. Mary DeOrnellis will be in the office, on Friday, March 27th.
ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED, BRING YOUR PAYMENT TO THE OFFICE. Kathy will be there 9am-7pm, Thursday, March 26th, with a couple of quick breaks for in-town appointments.
