Missouri Division of Fire Safety Issues Red Flag Warning-Expect Widespread Elevated to Significant fire weather conditions on Thursday

A Red Flag Warning for much of extreme northern Missouri today, and widespread Elevated Fire Weather conditions across the state due to low relative humidity and breezy conditions. Northern to Central Missouri is abnormally dry.
A Red Flag Warning - A warning issued when critical conditions supporting an extreme fire danger are imminent or occurring. The warning highlights weather of particular importance to fire behavior and potentially extreme burning conditions or many new fires. Check local conditions and avoid burning as conditions dictate.  
Expect additional widespread Elevated to Significant fire weather conditions on Thursday. Some localized areas of Extreme fire weather conditions may be possible in far southwest Missouri, leading to the potential for Red Flag Warning conditions there on Thursday.
