The Perry Project
Strengthening our small-town community, one family at a time. We are excited to officially launch The Perry Project, a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to supporting families in Perry, Missouri. Our mission is simple -- bring people together, provide resources where they are needed most, and make fun, family-friendly events for everyone to enjoy.
What We Do:
:: Food assistance & essential household items
:: Clothing and support for families
:: Community events for kids and families
:: Seasonal drives like Thanksgiving in a Bag
:: Emergency assistance when resources allow
The Perry Project is now officially registered as a nonprofit organization in the State of Missouri and has received our federal EIN! We have also submitted all paperwork for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and the approval process typically takes 2 - 6 weeks.
While we wait for final federal approval:
We CAN receive donations right now
BUT tax write-offs are not available until full approval is granted
We sincerely appreciate your support during this launch phase and want to be fully transparent about our status.
HOW YOU CAN HELP RIGHT NOW
We are currently accepting:
Gift cards - gas stations, food places, Walmart, etc.
Gently used or new coats, jackets, and boots for kids

Your support helps us serve more families and make these events bigger and better!

Every event takes a team, and we welcome volunteers of all ages!
We will also accept donations such as:
:: Event supplies
:: Cookies, candy, craft items
:: Gift cards for food or gas
:: Items for families in need
:: Giveaways or activity supplies
Volunteer sign-ups and donation lists will be posted closer to each event.
Why Some Events May Have Small Fees

These funds help us:
:: Purchase gas cards, food gift cards, and essential household items for families in need
:: Support local families experiencing hardship
:: Build and launch new programs as The Perry Project plans for the future
Every dollar goes right back into helping our community.
We cannot wait for a year of giving, growing, and coming together!
