Holliday, Missouri, to Celebrate 150 Years

December 09, 2025

Holliday, MO, is turning 150 years old in 2026 and everyone is invited!! An event is being planned to celebrate the community at the school extending towards Main Street on June 27. Holliday is a small village in western Monroe County, situated about one mile north of U.S. Route 24 between Paris and Madison.
The event is still in planning stages, as well as the musical performances.
To donate to aid in preparations for a fun community event. Checks can be made out to Holliday@150 and dropped off at TPNB of Paris, MO. You can remain anonymous if you choose. We appreciate everyone who contributes in any way.
Multiple t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other designs can be ordered before the event. Visit enchantedhillcreations.com. You then select your desired style, scroll over, pick your design, and choose your color. They are printed by a local designer, Kara Holem, and Holliday Sesquicentennial gets a portion of each sale.
The next meeting is Jan 6, 2026, at 6:30pm. We need to get lined out and would appreciate all the help we can get. What would you like to see on the day of the event? We are planning a history board, a corn hole tournament, a bunch of food trucks, a variety of vendors, music performers, and possibly a bounce house. We are still rolling out thoughts for a fun-filled day, so if you have ideas, let us know.
