MoDOT Announces Road Work in Ralls County

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be patching on Route Y and starting work on resurfacing Route O in Ralls County. Please see below for locations and details.
Ralls County Route Y – July 6, the road will be closed from Missouri Route 154 to Vermont Lane between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and on July 7, the road will be closed from Missouri Route 19 to Vermont Lane between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Motorists will need to use alternate routes during these times.
Ralls County Route O - The week of July 6, crews will start work on resurfacing U.S. Route O from Route 61 to the end of state maintenance with plans for completion by late July. “Traffic will be reduced to one lane and motorists will be directed through the work zone with the use of a pilot car,” explained Missouri Department of Transportation Area Engineer, Brian Untiedt. “This route carries a considerable volume of local traffic. We ask that motorists please be attentive in work zones for their safety and the safety of highway workers,” he added. Signs will be in place to alert motorists, as schedule changes may occur based on weather.
