City of Paris Important Ordinance Reminders

Section 215.015 No person shall leave outside, any material which is unhealthy or unsafe and declared to be a public nuisance including; parts of neglected cars or trucks, tires, broken furniture, old appliances, broken glass, boxes, mattresses, old wood, etc.

Yard Waste Reminder: Yard Waste pick up is the FIRST and THIRD Friday of each month. October 20th will be the last scheduled brush pick up until after winter.

Bulk Trash Pickup: Thursday, November 9th & Monday, November 13th.

Each customer is limited to 2 appliances per household and construction waste WILL NOT be picked up. Call the City office if you have any questions.

NOTICE: The City is not responsible for mail delivery. Utility bills are always due the last day of the month. Disconnection of service is always the 8th of the month. A reconnection fee of $25.00 is required to be paid by the customer. Did you know that running toilet could be costing you between $60-$80 per day. Please be aware of your toilet running which could get very costly on your utility billing. Remember, it should only take about 30 seconds for the tank to refill after a normal flush.

Dayne's Holiday Trash Schedule: With Christmas on Monday, trash service will be on Tuesday, December 26. Regular trash service on Monday Jan. 1, 2024.

With winter weather right around the corner, please try to avoid street parking as much as possible during and after winter storms. This will allow the snow plows to clean the streets the most effective and safest way possible!
