Monroe City R-1 Adult Ag Classes

On February 20, 2023, Kelly Nelson will be the presenter for the Monroe City R-1 Adult Ag Classes. The class will be at the Monroe City R-1 High School Library. Kelly Nelson is a research agronomist based at the Lee Greenley Jr. Memorial Research Farm, Novelty, MO. Dr Nelson's research is focused on increased agronomic production needs specific to Northeast Missouri. Nelson conducts applied research in forage production systems, alternative crops, pest management and tile drainage. He also collaborates with campus-based faculty, growers and industry representatives. His research emphasizes the integration of crop production systems with the economic realities of farm management.
