Paris High School FBLA partners with American Red Cross to host a community blood drive

The Paris High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, November 9, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Paris High School gym.

Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross. According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.

The blood drive also benefits our local students. The American Red Cross partners with our local FBLA chapter to provide a college scholarship for a graduating senior of Paris High School
