Creighton Noel Riley

Services for Creighton Noel Riley, 89, of Perry, will be at 11:00

a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry with

Katey Cooper as Celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be at

Lick Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Creighton passed away at 6:00 a.m. May 22, 2021 at Monroe Manor

Nursing Center in Paris.
He was born July 25, 1931 in Stoutsville, the son of Samuel

Creighton and Effie Dee West Riley.
He was married to Marjorie Ames from December 15, 1957 until 1969.
Survivors include: adopted daughter, Perk Pearson of Mexico; two

grandchildren, Marta (Ron) Newbraugh and Katey (Jason) Cooper of

Gardner, KS; nieces, Jolene Hart and Lori Hart Berry; and a whole host

of friends.
He was preceded by one sister, Maxine Hart.
Creighton was a lifetime area resident and Christian by faith. He

was baptized at the Victor First Christian Church. He served his

country honorably in the U.S. Marines. He worked as a livestock farmer

along with many years at the Palmyra sale barn until his retirement.

Creighton "Rile" was a Perry institution. If you heard him giggle you

just had to giggle also. He loved sitting on his front porch and

visiting with whoever stopped. He spent many happy hours at campfire

gatherings with his friends.
Pallbears will be Scott Leake, Josh Moss, Jay Asbury, Dewayne Baker,

Vince Smith and Tim Byrne.
