Winds of Faith
Talents of Growth
The word tells us that each one of us has been given a gift and for us to minister that gift to one another in the sphere of each other’s life. Paul writes young Timothy, do not neglect the gift that is in you. Stir up that gift that is in you, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of Power and of Love and of a Sound Mind.
As summer unfolds, let us trade our talents between one another turning two to four, to five, to ten. Not burying our one in the ground or hiding it in the things of the world. Jesus said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Math 25 -17)
Thoughts & Prayer: Blessed is that servant whom his Master, when he comes, will find so doing. Lord show us to grow the talents to two, to four, to five, to ten; not burying even one in the mist of self. amen
