COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Tanya Taylor, Director of The Ralls County Health Department, and Paula Delaney, Director of The Monroe County Health Department issued the following statement on Monday, January 11, 2021.

We understand that the public wants the COVID-19 vaccine, but at this time, we do not have the vaccine. The State of Missouri is still at level 1A and the vaccine is only available to front-facing healthcare workers and residents of long-term care. When the State’s Administration changes the level to 1B and the vaccine becomes available to those who are at least age 65 and those who have underlying health conditions, we will let the public know by every means possible.
