Veterans Day – November 11 (originally Armistice Day in 1918, renamed Veterans Day in 1954) The term "veteran" means a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable.
Cecil Bodine (Lucky) Date of service January 15 1964 to January 14 1966. War served in- Vietnam War. Branch of service- United States Army
John Cullifer US Army Enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard from 1983-1992. Reenlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard from 2006-2012. Deployed to Iraq 2009-2010, attached to the 3-319/82nd Airborne. Served in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, as a military policeman. Earned several awards. Retired and now is a writer and historian on early Missouri history and Missouri's involvement in several military engagements including the US Civil War

Vietnam War era (February 28, 1961, to May 7, 1975, for Veterans who served in the Republic of Vietnam during that period. August 5,
1964, to May 7, 1975, for Veterans who served outside the Republic of Vietnam.)
Gulf War (August 2, 1990, through a future date to be set by law or presidential proclamation)
