Paris FFA Service Project
November 02, 2020
25 Paris FFA members donated their time on October 31 to participate in their National FFA Day of service project.
They went door to door through Paris to hit every occupied house to remind citizens it is time to change smoke detector batteries!
FFA members provided smoke detector batteries if needed! They had 1350 9v batteries to pass out! If households didn’t have smoke detectors or not enough, they had that covered as well. They had 250 smoke detectors to hand out. FFA parents and members of the Paris Fire Department were on hand to help install smoke detectors if requested. ⠀
All supplies were purchased through a Living to Serve Grant from the National FFA written by Chris Ebbesmeyer.
